“Working with Mike Chmura and the Litron team is a real pleasure. We’ve proceeded faster than my expectations on the laser welding process for GMD’s reusable Trocar medical devices, and it’s due to the experience and enthusiasm of Litron’s staff”
~ Ron Sauer
“Litron’s staff has always been very friendly and helpful in every way. They actually help our designers understand the laser welding process and parameters so that we can make improvements to this and other designs.“

Dear Mr. Plasse:
I would like to offer my sincere thanks for the services provided by Litron during my visit on July 5, 2007. This work was in support of Sunpower’s NRA program from NASA Glenn Research Center to develop high efficiency Stirling engines for space exploration. Due to the nature of our work, our windows for performing critical processes such as laser welding are narrow, subject to change, and intolerant of delays. Mike Chmura and Pete Gotta at Litron have been exceptional in accommodating our challenging needs.
During this last visit Pete Gotta worked with us during second shift operations to complete the job. It was a very long, grueling night and Pete worked patiently, efficiently and with great attention to detail to get the job done. As we have seen with Pete in the past, he is completely customer-focused and keeps our satisfaction as the highest goal. Additionally, he was friendly and personable and made the work enjoyable. He is to be commended for his effort and I truly appreciate his contribution to your team.
Thanks again for your service and collaboration and I look forward to working with Litron again in the near future.
Best Regards,
Kyle Wilson

Dear Valued Supplier,
As part of our ISO-13485 commitment, Marox has developed a supplier rating system. We rate our suppliers on three categories.
Delivery 33.33%
Quality 33.33%
Quantity 33.33% The total achieved rating can be 100%
For Delivery, we allow plus or minus three days from the required due date on our purchase order. Quality will be compliance to the specification including paper work (certification). Quality will be for lot quantity. Missing pieces will be held against the supplier.
Overall supplier rating is calculated at the end of each year from the totals of each category. Each category is given 33.33% if no problems are detected. If a problem is detected during the receiving inspection, i.e. a missing or incorrect certification, the supplier will receive a zero for that lot’s category under “Quality”.
If the supplier’s grand average for each category was: 30% + 28% + 33%, the total rating would be 91% for the year.
Please note: MAROX considers performance ratings of 80 to 100% acceptable. Performance ratings between 60 and 79% are marginal, requiring improvement efforts. Any performance rating below 60% requires a corrective action plan. Please submit a corrective action plan no later than 30 days from receipt of this letter addressing the area of concern. Failure to respond with a corrective action plan may result in removal from our Approved Supplier’s List.
Out of 10 lots processed, your overall quality rating for 2008 was: 100%, based on the following averages:
33.33% Quality 33.33% Delivery 33.33% Quantity
Your overall rolling Quality Rating is: 97.04%
If you have any questions or would like a complete copy of the receiving inspection log, please feel free to contact me. Also, please send your latest copy of your ISO or NADCAP certification to up date our files.
Sincerely,
Marox Corporation
