Machinist

The right person will be self-motivated, detail oriented and willing to follow specific work instructions to meet customer requirements. Candidates must excel in a team environment where honesty and integrity are the basis for growth.

Experience:
3-5 years in 3, 4 or 5 axis CNC milling.

Responsibilities:
Setup, operate cnc-milling machines with some editing, in process inspection as well as machine area maintenance.

In-House Equipment:
Haas DT1's 3 axis, Haas VF2 3 axis and Haas VF4 5 axis with dual trunnion.

Education Requirements:
High school diploma or GED with technical certificate.

Salary:
Based on experience.

Schedule:
7am-5: 30pm. 50 hrs, some Saturdays.

Associate Mechanical Process Engineer

Experience:
1-2 years in mechanical processes. AutoCad and Mastercam X4.

A Plus to Have:
Lean Manufacturing, Kyzen, Six Sigma, Electroplating processes and Finishing.

Responsibilities:
Review and update current CNC programs, work instructions and process control documents. Organize and manage tooling kits and job fixtures.

Education Requirements:
Associate Degree, will consider others with related work experience.

Feed Integration / Soldering

The right person will be self-motivated, have exceptional dexterity, be detail oriented and willing to follow specific work instructions to meet customer requirements. Candidates must excel in a team environment where honesty and integrity are the basis for growth.

Experience:
1 year in Micro-electronics soldering , Microscope inspection.

Responsibilities:
Feed integration, Flux cleaning, leak testing and Thermal cycling and vapor degreasing.

In-House Equipment:
Fisher Scientific hot plate, Arizonia Hydrogen torch, BTU Pyramax reflow oven, Branson vapor degreaser and Nikon microscopes.

Education Requirements:
High school diploma or GED with technical certificate.

Laser Welding Operator

Litron has a need for laser welding operators.

Experience:
Past experience in laser welding and/or machining a plus, but willing to train the right candidate.

Requirements:
Must be able to read mechanical drawings and have general knowledge of a job shop work environment. Must be able to read and follow written instructions as well follow verbal instructions from department managers and colleagues.

Education Requirements:
High school diploma or GED with technical certificate.

Quality In-process Inspector

As a rapidly growing Hermetic Package Manufacturer we are seeking a Quality In-process Inspector to support the quality department.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in process inspections to ensure each operation and finished products meet quality inspection requirements and engineering specifications.
  • Record inspection results (attribute and variable data) on appropriate forms.
  • Verify completeness and accuracy of inspection and manufacturing documents (i.e. work order router, inspection sheets etc.).
  • Measure products using appropriate measuring equipment.
  • Provide immediate feedback to appropriate personnel (i.e. supervisor, engineer) regarding nonconforming products.
  • Participate in new product development activities to ensure that quality inspection methods, tools, gages, and measuring equipment are available for use during production.
  • Participate in corrective and preventive action activities, when appropriate.

Requirements:
A minimum of 5 years previous aerospace manufacturing experience of tight tolerance aluminum, titanium, and Kovar parts to include: quality control principles, first article inspections according to customer requirements. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blue prints and product specifications. Experienced using touch probe CMM and the ability to use appropriate measuring equipment such as micrometers, go/no-go thread gages, vision measuring machine, microscope, etc. Must be a well organized, detail oriented, self-starter who can work under minimal supervision. Good verbal and written communication skills. Frequent standing and walking required.

Quality Assurance Engineer

Litron is looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer with a work history in medical device manufacturing and regulatory compliance.

Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience with ISO 9001:2008 (13485 a plus)
  • Working knowledge of lean, six sigma, 5S practices
  • Experienced in documenting processes, procedures, etc.
  • Engineering degree or equivalent experience (ME, IE, EE)
  • Minimum of 2 years in manufacturing or quality lab experience
  • Good organizational, analytical and planning skills
