Local Small Business Gives Back to the Community

Litron teams up with Toys For Tots to Help During the Holiday Season.

AGAWAM MA -- As another holiday season is upon us, Litron Inc. is happy to give back to the community. Litron Inc., laser service specialists located in Agawam MA, is serving as a drop off location for the Toys For Tots charity. Together as a company and with the help of the local community, Litron will donate to children who otherwise would not receive a gift this holiday season. Mark Plasse, President of Litron put it well when he said, "there is a big need this year and putting a smile on a child's face is something we couldn't resist."

About Toys For Tots

Toys for Tots is a program run by the United States Marine Corps Reserve which collects new and unwrapped toys to donate to children during the holidays. The Western Massachusetts division of Toys For Tots prides itself on working hard to reach out to the communities of Western Mass in order to make the holiday season a little happier for the children in the local area. Local toy collection starts in Mid October and ends Mid December. The toys are collected, sorted and distributed to the local community in time for the holidays.

How You Can Help

Through the generosity of the employees at Litron and with the help of the local community making a difference this holiday season is easier than ever. A drop off box is located at the front entrance of Litron and new, unwrapped toys can be dropped off between the hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00PM. The toys will be picked up from Litron's facility on Friday December 17th to be delivered for Christmas morning. Please make sure you get your donations in by Thursday December 16th.
