2011 Supplier of the Year

Litron Inc., of Agawam MA has been named the 2011 supplier of the year from Hittite Microwave Corporation of Chelmsford MA. Since 2006 Litron has been supplying Hittite with complex gold plated microwave and RF housings and laser sealing services to support Hittite's integrated circuits (ICs), modules, subsystems and instrumentation business.

How the Decision Was Made

Everett Cole, Vice President, Hybrid Manufacturing at Hittite Microwave led the recognition ceremony and explained how they came to their final decision. "Price, Quality and Delivery have become expected of every supplier in today's manufacturing world. To pick a top supplier we had to look beyond the industry standards and see which supplier helped us in more than just delivering parts and supplying services" says Cole. "Litron not only supplied high quality, cost effective parts on time, they went above and beyond in responding to last minute requests and delivering early so we could meet our deadlines".

Mark Plasse, President of Litron Inc. was present to receive the award and re-affirmed their commitment to providing Hittite and all of their customers with the highest quality products and services.
